Our signature is the aesthetics: a beautifully restored Art Nouveau tenement in the heart of Sosnowiec.
This is our place – but also yours, as Guests of Hotel Centrum Sosnowiec.
Here, at the intersection of Modrzejowska and Warszawska Streets, architecture enthusiasts lift their gaze toward a monumental building over 140 years old.
It is here that travelers arriving by train take their very first steps after leaving the Sosnowiec Główny railway station.
Hotel Centrum has become a permanent part of the city's landscape – a true landmark of Sosnowiec and the entire Dąbrowa Basin.
Then and now
From the very beginning of the building’s existence, we’ve been at the heart of the city.
It was here, at the confluence of two key downtown streets in Sosnowiec, that vital urban functions began to take shape — with the Hotel Centrum building standing as a silent witness to it all since its inception.
Originally, the tenement served local merchants and craftsmen as a space for launching their first businesses.Today, the building’s commercial and entertainment heritage lives on through Restaurant Warszawska – proudly recognized with multiple chef’s hats by the Gault & Millau guide – as well as the Casino and other small but essential businesses that echo the character of bygone years.

A Place to Meet
Restaurant Warszawska is the perfect setting for private gatherings and corporate events.
Its unique atmosphere and attentive service also make it an excellent choice for celebrating special occasions, enjoying a romantic dinner in Sosnowiec, or sharing a relaxed Sunday meal with family.
Locally Rooted, Globally Minded
The fluttering flags of Poland and the European Union symbolize both our deep connection to local traditions and our place within the broader European community.
We live locally but think globally – remembering our complex past, yet focusing on a bright future that we are proud to share with you, our valued Guests.
